About this KNoT

This session will help participants interpret the ANU Transdisciplinary Problem-solving framework, and showcase resources that can help examine that question. We will also explore a key resource from an international collaboration examining the various ways and contexts for training for transdisciplinarity.

Drawing on experience around the room we will also have a more general discussion about what it means -- or could mean -- to create and run an excellent transdisciplinary course at ANU.

This KNoT is designed for academic and professional staff, and students are welcome to participate.

Preparation

Please engage with the resource ahead of the session: ITD Alliance design guide

What You’ll Learn

How to Complete This KNoT

For students enrolled in SoCIETIE, develop a 1-page plan for a workshop that you might like to run in your community context, building on the learning from the workshop.

Writing your reflection

Most completion tasks ask you to reflect on what you did. For prompts, sentence starters, and the five areas a strong reflection covers, see Writing Your Reflection. Your completed tasks come together at the end of the semester in the Completion Evidence.
