About this KNoT
This workshop will help you identify what is important to you when deciding on organisations and graduate jobs that might suit you
Preparation
Think about your network- are there people you know in jobs that interest you? Are there organisations that interest you? What do you enjoy doing?
What You’ll Learn
This knot will consist of interactive activities designed in a fun way so you can learn that:
- Self awareness is the foundation of good career decisions
- There's no single "right" career path
- Career development is ongoing
- Your values, skills and interests evolve
Learning Resources
We'll use the following resources:
- The Holland Code Test
- Understand Your Professional Self on ANU Careers Central
- Odyssey Tool
How to Complete This KNoT
Please complete one of the following:
- Modules 1-3 in "Understand Your Professional Self " pathway located on Career Central under E-learning Pathways.
- Your Odyssey planner or any other artefact from the session
Include a screenshot of the completed modules, plus a small reflective statement about how you might apply (or how you have already applied) these skills in your future.
Writing your reflection
Most completion tasks ask you to reflect on what you did. For prompts, sentence starters, and the five areas a strong reflection covers, see Writing Your Reflection. Your completed tasks come together at the end of the semester in the Completion Evidence.
